It’s official.

As reported by Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com, the Cleveland Cavaliers will be officially signing superstar LeBron James to a lucrative three-year, $100 million deal.

The contract makes James the highest paid player in the NBA for the first time in his career, starting at $31 million for the 2016-17 season, and increasing to over $33 million for the 2017-18 season, which would be the highest single-season salary in NBA history.

The three-time NBA champion brought home Cleveland’s first NBA title last season as he averaged 29.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, 8.9 assists, 2.6 steals, and 2.3 blocks in last year’s NBA Finals.
