7 Reasons Steph Curry Will Never Be as Good as LeBron James

7. Proven Winner

James has not been on a team with a losing record since his rookie season. The Cavs finished 35-47 and out of the playoffs in 2003-04, when James was a 19-year-old fresh out of Akron’s St. Vincent-St. Mary High School. He has played on nine 50-win teams since then, including two championship teams in Miami. By comparison, the Warriors won only 26 and 36 games in Curry’s first two seasons and also finished below .500 when he missed much of his third year.
