Despite what you may hear in the media or what anecdotal evidence you’ve been fed, there’s one thing that never lies: numbers. When looking purely at the numbers, James is the more clutch player by a mile. Per ESPN’s Aloki Pattani, LeBron is 8-of-19 on potential game-tying or go-ahead shots in the final 24 seconds of the fourth quarter or overtime during postseason games as of May 11, 2015. Meanwhile, Bryant is just 7-of-28.
