2. Gelling at the Right Time

 

Since the game against the Los Angeles Lakers back on January 15th, the Cavaliers have been the best team in the league with a 34-9 record, a 65-win pace.

The midseason acquisitions of J.R. Smith, Timofey Mozgov, and Iman Shumpert have helped iron out the deficiencies that plagued the team to begin the season and have given the Cavs momentum to carry the team to its first finals berth in eight years.
