9. Austin Carr (1971-80)

Mr. Cavalier might have reached the Hall of Fame for his NBA play had injuries not entered the picture. The top pick in the 1971 NBA Draft averaged over 20 points per game during his first three seasons, but knee trouble took its toll. His number 34 is retired by the Cavs.
