9. Lost at Cincinnati, 117-100 (1970)


In front of a crowd of 2,713 at Cincinnati Gardens, the expansion Cavaliers dropped to 3-37 on the year with this loss to the Cincinnati Royals. After a solid opening quarter, the Royals blew the game open over the next two periods. Ohio State rookie Dave Sorenson led the Cavs with 20 points.
