‘Bachelorette’ star Jenn Tran shoots her shot at Max Strus: ‘[If] you’re single, I’m here and ready’

Jenn Tran — who was the star of season 21 of “The Bachelorette” and appeared in season 28 of “The Bachelor” — shot her shot with Cleveland Cavaliers forward Max Strus.

“Max Strus, if you’re out there and you’re single, I’m here and I’m ready,” Tran said.

Boston Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum was also brought up, though he is dating singer Ella Mai, and the two reportedly had a child together.

It’s worth noting that Strus has since decided to follow Tran on Instagram.

Tran was the very first Asian-American to take on a lead role in the history of the Bachelor franchise.

She has quite a large following on social media, as she has an excess of 450,000 followers on Instagram and more than 271,000 on TikTok.

Tran seemingly wants to be romantically involved with someone who was of the Cavaliers’ best forwards last season. After spending the first four seasons of his NBA career with the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls, Strus averaged 12.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, a career-high 4.0 assists and 0.9 steals per game in his first season in Cleveland.

Strus knows a thing or two about shooting, considering he is arguably best known for his ability to shoot the ball from 3-point range. Across 70 regular-season games with the Cavaliers, he converted 35.1 percent of his shots from deep on 6.8 attempts per contest.

He’s only also two seasons removed from shooting 41.0 percent from 3-point range to boot. Strus shot the ball with such impressive efficiency in his second-to-last season with the Heat, the 2021-22 season.

But while Strus was an invaluable part of the Cavaliers during the 2023-24 regular season, he wasn’t quite able to translate his regular-season play into the 2024 NBA Playoffs. Strus was especially off his game in Cleveland’s second-round series against Tatum and the Celtics.

The 28-year-old saw his scoring average drop to 10.0 points per game, and he also shot only 35.4 percent from the field against a Celtics team that went on to win the 2024 NBA title.

It would be a great story if Strus and Tran ended up becoming a couple because the latter decided to shoot her shot.
