Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was supposed to play the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday night.

However, while he will no longer be able to see Cavs faithful in person, he made sure to show the fan base love on Twitter.

James, 35, played for the Cavaliers for 11 seasons.

The Cavs selected the transcendent talent with the No.1 pick in the 2003 draft. Although James and the Cavs have had a rocky relationship over the years, they achieved a ton of success together.

Perhaps the most memorable product of the alliance, James led the Cavs to their first championship in franchise history by overcoming a 3-1 deficit against the Golden State Warriors in the 2016 NBA Finals.

In addition to capturing that elusive championship for Cleveland, the four-time MVP has conducted several community events, served at-risk neighborhoods, opened up a prominent school and much more.

Now, James is fixated on attaining a fourth ring and bringing the Lakers back to the promise land. He is posting 25.7 points, 10.6 assists and 7.9 rebounds per game this season.

Furthermore, the Lakers have the best record in the Western Conference.
