No player on the Cleveland Cavaliers has a right to be more upset about the NBA suspension than sophomore Collin Sexton.

The guard, who was on a hot streak before the suspension materialized, spoke about life without basketball with Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports.

Sexton, 21, was in the midst of a breakout stretch with the Cavs.

The 6-foot-1 pro was averaging 30.0 points, 4.6 assists and 1.6 steals per game in March. He was giving fans glimpses of hope and winning amidst a tumultuous 2019-20 campaign.

Over the course of the season, Sexton has been putting up 20.8 points per game. The feisty guard only trails All-Stars Trae Young and Luka Doncic in scoring among second-year players this year.

Although the youngster is eager to get back on the court, he may have to wait for a while.

Due to the rampant increase in cases of the novel coronavirus, the league could decide to further extend the suspension of the season.

As more tests become available for the contagious virus in the United States, the number of cases are skyrocketing throughout the country.

As a matter of fact, the pandemic has plagued multiple NBA teams. Numerous players, including stars Kevin Durant and Donovan Mitchell, have tested positive for the coronavirus.
