Larry Nance Jr. is not known as a shooter, but his improved shooting from the 3-point line is what he is most excited to showcase when the 2019-20 regular season begins.

The Cleveland Cavaliers big man recently offered his followers the chance to have their questions answered on his Instagram story.

One follower asked him what he is “most excited to showcase this season.” Nance’s answer was clear and concise.

Based on his response to the inquiry, it looks like Nance is quite confident that he can make his 3-pointers more consistently this season.

Power forwards and centers who can shoot from deep have become a growing trend over the past few years in the NBA, and Nance knows that his game has to evolve if he wants to keep up with the changing times.

A career 29.5 percent shooter from behind the 3-point line, Nance showed a more polished game from downtown when he made a career-high 33.7 percent of his threes last season. He also made 33 3-pointers during the 2018-19 season, a career high by a long shot.

The 3-point shot gives Nance an added weapon when opponents try to take away his post game. It’s a weapon that the Cavs would most certainly welcome as they feature a more diversified offense from their four-year veteran this season.
