Cleveland Cavaliers big man Kevin Love hasn’t played in a game since Oct. 24 against the Brooklyn Nets due to surgery performed on his left big toe.
However, the team shared some potentially big news on Thursday as it showed the big man back on the court in Miami.
Love’s original timetable had him returning sometime in the middle of January, but signs are pointing to him returning sooner.
The 8-27 Cavs could definitely use Love’s scoring, leadership, and rebounding, especially with center Tristan Thompson also on the shelf with a foot sprain.
Love had been averaging 19.0 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists before electing to have surgery on his toe.
The Cavs take on the Heat on Friday night at 8 pm EST.
