Kyle Kuzma Says LeBron James, Not Kobe Bryant, Best of Our Generation

As LeBron James dominates the Eastern Conference on his way to what Cleveland Cavaliers fans hope will be his eighth straight trip to the NBA Finals, the conversation about his place in NBA history rages on.

While he is most often compared to Michael Jordan in terms of greatness, another argument regarding his place in his own generation of ballers exists as well. While some believe former Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant tops James, others regard James as the undisputed G.O.A.T. of his era.

Current Lakers star Kyle Kuzma joined FS1’s “Undisputed” to talk the James-Bryant debate, and his answer might anger some Lakers fans.

When it comes to stats, James is the clear favorite. While Bryant averaged an impressive 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game in his career, James is currently averaging 27.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game.

As far as NBA championships go, Bryant currently leads James five rings to three. Considering the way the four-time MVP is playing right now, it seems he has more than enough left in the tank to win at least a couple more Larry O’Brien trophies before hanging it up for good.

It will be fascinating to see what the James doubters will say if he ever does cross Bryant’s five-ring threshold, or Jordan’s six-ring mark. If he does, perhaps even the biggest haters will finally have to admit that James is indeed the greatest of all time.
