Having dropped four of their six games since the end of the All-Star break, the Cleveland Cavaliers got more bad news on Sunday with the announcement from the team that Tristan Thompson will miss multiple games because of a sprained right ankle suffered on Saturday night.
Thompson missed more than a month in the early portion of this season with a calf injury. Prior to that issue, Thompson had established himself as one of the most durable players in the NBA.
Following Monday night’s game against Detroit, the Cavaliers will begin a six-game road trip, with their first five games coming against Western Conference opponents. It currently remains uncertain whether or not Thompson will be able to play during the trip.
