This is a long shot simply because of the up-in-the-air status of the former All-Star’s health, but as recently as April, Bosh claimed that he can still play, saying his health is “complicated.” If Bosh was cleared to play, he would look to the Cavs as a definite landing spot. He would be cheap, and if in playing shape, could offer an offensive spark that the Cavaliers so desperately need when their stars are resting on the bench.
While some of these additions are clearly more likely then others, the players on this list are productive role players that would give the Cavaliers the ability to rest their stars and not have to worry about losing the offensive momentum needed to beat the most competitive teams in the NBA. While a home-run trade for a star is attractive, the front office would do well to put emphasis on signing players that can lighten the load on the already incredibly talented Cavaliers roster.
