Let’s face it. The Eastern Conference is weak.
Even the teams at the top of the East aren’t very intimidating.
The Atlanta Hawks, who may be the league’s hottest team, have shown time and time again that they don’t have what it takes to make a deep-season playoff push. What makes it so different this year? They have nearly the exact same roster as last year and don’t possess that one player with a true killer instinct.
The Toronto Raptors have been the worst team since the All-Star break with a 2-9 record, and the Chicago Bulls can’t seem to stay healthy. This all bodes well for the Cavaliers, who should have a relatively easy path to the NBA Finals if they can stay healthy.
