A surprise entry to be sure, but just a couple years ago, before his back injury and a wild contract dispute with the Houston Rockets, the 7-foot Motiejunas was a 36.8 percent three-point shooter, averaging 12.0 points and 5.9 rebounds in 28.7 minutes per game for the Rockets.

The 2011 first-round pick was an afterthought last season with the New Orleans Pelicans, who have Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins at their disposal.

If the Cavs elect to go with another big man, the center is now healthy and still only 26 years old. Aside from his outside shooting, the Lithuanian has a sneaky post game that features a toolbox of moves, including a variety of drop steps and deft baby hooks with either hand.

Bringing back Derrick Williams remains a possibility. The fiery Motiejunas, however, would provide more value if his back fully checks out in a physical.
