Cavs News: LeBron James to Sit out Sunday vs. Washington Wizards

The Cleveland Cavaliers will be without the services of LeBron James for their Sunday afternoon road matchup against the Washington Wizards in order to provide the veteran forward with some rest.

The Cavaliers will be playing the first part of back-to-back contest, with the latter contest scheduled for Monday night at home against the Indiana Pacers.

Last Monday, James had an uncharacteristic mediocre performance in the team’s loss to the Detroit Pistons. That defeat came the day after the Cavs had defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road, with Cleveland head coach Tyronn Lue lamenting that he should have rested James.
